We are delighted to add the expertise of the Kalahari Conservation Society and Tsavo Conservation Group to the EPI’s NGO partnership base.

A total of 25 leading international NGOs have pledged their support for the EPI. In doing so, these organisations will work together to implement the African Elephant Action Plan – an eight-step process for the reduction in the illegal killing of elephants and the illegal trade of elephant products agreed by all African elephant range States. The plan also calls for co-ordinated and effective protection for Africa’s remaining elephant populations.

With its dedicated partners across governments, NGOs and the private sector, the EPI is able to harness the diversity of experience and effort across the continent in protecting elephant herds.
