CONSERVATION FINANCE

The EPI advises member states on unlocking conservation finance. Though finance alone cannot solve all protected area problems, it can however remove critical capital constraints. Moreover, if various instruments are combined, it can allow both government and communities to access new resources while also de-risking private investment; including local enterprises.
